The Black Knit Collar

This one is all black, all winter, and genuinely warm. The shell is 80% wool with a soft, dense hand to it. It feels substantial without being stiff.

The collar is the first thing you notice. A wide, ribbed knit that can sit high or fold down, with a tab that buttons across the front. It's practical and it looks good. The same ribbed knit carries through to the cuffs, which keeps the cold out in a way that most coats don't bother with. Double-breasted button front with a belted waist, finished with a silver-toned metal buckle. The back has structured yoke seaming that gives it shape from behind.

The lining is plain black and in good shape throughout.

Condition
This coat is in very good condition. All original buttons are present. The knit collar and cuffs are intact with no pulls or unravelling. The lining is clean. There are no visible marks or damage to the shell.

Care
Machine wash at 30°C. No bleaching, no tumble drying, no dry cleaning.
